Norforge & Machining, Inc.

COMBINING WORLD CLASS MANUFACTURING METHODS WITH OLD WORLD INTEGRITY!

Capabilities

Norforge & Machining, Inc.Companies positioned to meet the market challenges of a new century are those who will successfully integrate technology with a well trained and involved work force that is committed to a disciplined, total quality management operating system. Only the companies positioned to profitably impact cost and quality through careful control of their manufacturing processes and process variables will meet the market challenges.

Norforge and Machining is a 100 year old "new" company with an impressive background in the production of commercial and customer-designed forged and machined products and assemblies. We have long believed in the advantages of strengthening steel through forging.

Norforge & Machining, Inc.Forging surpasses casting, stamping, welding/fabrication, machine steel bar/plate, and powder metallurgy in predictable properties that assure product strength, durability, and quality part after part.

Forged products are more reliable, less costly and, where required for product application, forged products respond better to heat treatment because of their strength, ductility and resistance properties. Heating and pre-working raw material produces a consistent grain flow, maximizing product strength. Metallurgical defects and/or imperfections are also refined in the process.

Norforge is however, far more than just a forging operation. Norforge has extensive machining capabilities including turning, milling, drilling, tapping, broaching, hobbing, coining, annealing, assembly and testing. These capabilities make Norforge an ideal supplier for finished and assembled components. Norforge & Machining, Inc.

Norforge also has an extensive in house engineering and design services plus full tool and die maintenance capabilities to support our customers needs. These functional capabilities allow for extensive partnering in the design and pre-product planning phase to ensure lowest cost production over a product's life cycle.
